How Amazon.com Lies To Their Customers

by Matt Gordon on September 6, 2008

These two screenshots were taken within minutes of each other on the morning of September 5, 2008.  As you can see, they are shipping tracking data for the same order.  One minute, the order was shipped (using “Standard Shipping”) four days ago (on Labor Day?  I think not.) from Hazelwood, Missouri.  The second screenshot shows the same order as being shipped from Campbellsville, Kentucky, on the same date.  Which one is correct?  No one seems to know.

Even four days after Amazon claims the order was shipped, they cannot even tell where the order was shipped from.  Meanwhile, post office tracking reveals they have not even received the package.  Which means that during the four days after informing the customer that their order has shipped, they have actually been sitting on the order without doing anything.
